My third month

We are more than a week late in posting, but I hit a big milestone this month...I'm 1/4 of a year old! Mama says she doesn't know how I could grow any faster, I guess her milk is working! I'm still eating every 3 hours or so, and sometimes if I'm SUPER tired I sleep about 6-7 hours at night...but most nights I still get up every 3-4 hours.  Mama says I should maybe stop that soon, but I don't know.

New things this month:
- Giggling...it's a tiring thing, so I only do it if something is REALLY funny. It's usually Daddy making funny noises that gets to me. Mama says its the best sound she has ever heard.
- Rolling over...it took me several days to get all the way over, and I just learned how to roll back a few days ago, but now Mama can't get me to stay on my back!
- New places to sit....This month Mama tried me in my Bumpo seat, my high chair, and our stroller.  I'm still a little small so I need some support, but sometimes I like to sit up and see the world! ...and sometimes it seems like too much work.  :-)
- Wearing 6 month clothes...I'm growing like a weed and Mama says I need to slow down.  She got out all my 6 month clothes right after we got home from Illinois, and a lot of the 6 month jammies are already too short for me! Mama hated getting rid of my tiny clothes, but she says that some of these are pretty cute too.
-Going to the babysitter...Mama went back to work this month and I get to go play at Ms Michelle's three days a week.  She is so nice and the other kids she watches love taking care of me too.  Michelle has been helping Mama a lot when she is at work by texting her updates and sending her pictures of me every once in a while.  We are so glad we have such a great helper!
- Screentime...Daddy says it's too soon, but I'm starting to like watching screens.  Even if there is nothing on them I like the light and the color.  Daddy says we have to put those away for a while.

My least favorite things:
Colds...Mama and I have both been sick for about 2 weeks, and Daddy keeps getting it off and on.  I don't like having to get saline squirted in my nose, I don't like the nose sucker, I don't like not breathing when I'm sleeping, and I don't like trying to figure out how to cough the right way.
Getting dried off after a bath...They get me warm and happy, and Grandma Beth sent me my own soft towel, but then the crazy parents want me to sit in the cold and slather me in lotion...and they like to kiss me extra because they say I smell good...sure, take your time while I'm miserable!  I don't like it one bit!

A few of my favorite things:
- My play mat...I love to lay under it and look at my elephant friend and play with the zebra.  I can roll around enough to kick them or bat at them and I like the music I can play with my feet.
- Bathtime...I have always loved bath time but now I know how to splash better and it is way more fun.  Also I met the guy in the bath tub next to me and he seems like a cool cat! Mama says I will probably outgrow my tub next week. I'm getting too tall.
- Singing...it really never gets old.  I love all types of songs Mama and Daddy sing, and I also like listening to music on the radio or TV shows.
- My thumb...I was a pacifier man in my younger months, but these days its too much work to keep one in.  I like my thumb or a few fingers much better anyway. They help keep me quiet and make me sleepy and give me something to chew on.

I like it when Mama and Daddy are both home and playing with me.  I like it when I get to lay on my changing table and they come and talk to me and try to get me to laugh.  I like it when Mama gets up to rock and feed me in the middle of the night.  I like my life.
